With this cold and flu season upon us and the summer months behind us, it can be hard to get ahold of our favorite fruits. Here is a list of the fruits and vegetables that are in season now and oh, soooo good for these cold, icky crud months.   • Grapefruit – Vitamin A, C

  • Kumquats – Mini citrus fruit with edible peel, high in vitamin C, fiber
  • Oranges – Vitamin C, fiber
  • Pears – Vitamin C, fiber
  • Persimmons – Vitamin A, C, fiber
  • Pomegranates – Vitamin C, K, potassium, folate, copper, fiber
  • Pummelos – Grapefruit family
  • Date Plums – Vitamin A, C, manganese and fiber
  • Passion Fruit – Vitamin C and fiber
  • Red Banana – Vitamin C
